Cynisca Will Make Debut in Vuelta CV Féminas

UPDATE February 6, 2023: RACE HIGHLIGHTS

The start of the race went exactly to plan. Riders worked together over the first 10km with Emilie, Zoe and Ashley staying in the front to help Ashley, who is inexperienced but a super strong climber. Ashley took 3rd in the first GPM in her first international race. Emilie was set up near the front on the second climb to be there for the split, and she almost made the break. Emilie was seen riding strong by many supporters at home watching on GCN. Once the break went, the race for the top ten spots was over. Most of the groups naturally consolidated into a few, and four Cynisca riders made it to the main group that formed behind two lead breaks. Overall, it was a solid first race for Cynisca.

February 3, 2023 — USA-based, UCI Continental Team Cynisca Cycling will make its debut Sunday, 05 February in the Vuelta CV Féminas. Six riders will start in the 93.2km race from Paterna to València, Spain, alongside 21 other UCI World and Continental women’s teams.
